My first letter about Kenya 11/27/2011
Hi. My name is Elizabeth and I currently attend the Columbia New Spring. I was interested in the Kenya trip, but I am not old enough to go. You see, I am 11 years old. I was baptised at News Spring a few weeks ago and I want the next chapter in my life to be following God. I have looked at the Kenya information and it says you must be 16 years of age to go, but I really do want to go and help those who are in need in Kenya with my mom. I am willing to do whatever it takes to let my mom and I go to Kenya if God blesses us to be able afford it. I am just asking why do I have to be pretty much an adult to go and spread the word of Christ and help others in need? Why can't an 11 year old go with her mom? If my question's answer is something like I couldnt handle it, I completely understand. And if I don't get to go, I understand too because I believe God has a plan for me and will put me on the right path, just like Scripture says in Proverbs 3: 5-6. Well, I hope I did not bug you and if my mom and I can't go I wish the best of luck! Add Comment How E is Uneek! was started 11/25/2011
E is Uneek started when I read a book called The Lemonade War in 2008. It gave ideas for money making on a website and I decided to visit the website. Duct tape products were on the list. What? I got blue and white duct tape rolls. I made one of the ugliest duct tape purses you could imagine, but I was proud of it because it was my first try. Oh, well. I got better and better and better at it and begged my mom for a business, We attempted a few times for a business and finally got around to officially starting it in June of 2011. I came up with the name E is Uneek by accident while sitting on my couch. We entered the Gilbert Peach Festival and now were on our way to success! Through E is Uneek, I’ve learned to talk to people, ask questions, to actually work, and to build up self-confidence. I highly recommend to young entrepreneurs to follow your dreams and you will soar!! | AuthorI am an 11 year old girl who loves to duct tape. Besides duct tape, I love to draw, paint, play tennis, play piano, sing, and act. ArchivesCategories |
